How To Install Fonts In Adobe Pagemaker 7
суббота 13 октября admin 27
Hello everyone, I have a problem with PageMaker 7.0, naturally, hence the title. All of the machines here, Macs, with OS 9.2.1 installed, on all of them, were completely ereased and reinstalled in segments. When PageMaker 7.0 was installed on the (newly-formatted) computer, the default fonts were put on there. Then, fonts were installed on there that were needed, Rockwell, for example. A CD of fonts was installed and Rockwell became visible on the font list and in the text of PageMaker. When we go to print, it does not allow us to print in Rockwell. However, in Word (or any other application at that) allows us to print in Rockwell.
To install additonal fonts that you can use with Pagemaker you actually need to install these into the Windows - Fonts folder. I will post the instructions on how to.
Does anybody have any ideas that could help me out? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In my case when the 'compose to printer' entry was incorrect, PageMaker was unable to find any of the fonts on my computer. The symptoms I saw were an Error message that read 'Unable to find font - check font spelling', invalid names in my font pull down list (for example 'Arial Greek') and an inability to change fonts in an existing PageMaker document. I believe the cause of my problem was that I changed computers (reloaded PageMaker 7.0) but left the default printer as 'Microsoft Office Document Image Writer'.
