Hi, I have a Samsung clp-325 laser printer. I've seen tutorials on youtube showing how to make the 310/315 model not need the chips on the toners so you can just refill them. Should I buy a refill kit (I've only seen them available abroad from farbtoner) with the replacement chips and wait for it to be empty?

After spending some time on this forum yesterday, i decided to try and put some tape on the prongs on the front door that touch the chips on the cartridges to stop the connection there, and voila! The cartridge indicator lights all stay red, but the status light stays green and there are no further issues and beautiful prints - hopefully i don't have anymore issues here, but it seems to be working for now. No soldering or cabling, chip replacement, or firmware update required!
